Stroke: Causes, diagnosis, and our treatment

Cerebrovascular Diseases

These are conditions that involve blood flow to the brain and vascular problems. The incidence increases with age. There are two(2) types of CVD, the Transient Ischemic Attack wherein the neurological signs and symptoms are present within 24 hours, while Stroke is when these last for more than 24 hours.

Stroke is classified into Ischemic Stroke and Hemorrhagic Stroke. Ischemic Stroke involves blockage of the arteries in the brain, while Hemorrhagic Stroke is due to bleeding. Both of these causes a reduction in blood supply. The most common symptom of a stroke is weakness or numbness on one side of the body.

Since majority of strokes are from Ischemia then we will focus on that. Ischemia is caused by arteriosclerotic plaques that produce Atherosclerosis which are characterized by hardening of the arterial walls due to buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances.

These plaques can activate the clotting mechanism of the blood, causing a blood clot to occur and block the blood flow resulting in lack of oxygen and glucose supply. This will lead to acute loss of brain function in the affected area.

Risk Factors are conditions that give the possibility of producing atherosclerosis. These are hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, old age, tobacco smoking and family history of stroke.

Etiologies are the certain diseases that are the actual beginning of an ischemic stroke. Examples are Myocardial infarction, Atrial fibrillation, Rheumatic Heart Disease, Ischemic Cardiomyopathy, prosthetic heart valves, and Bacterial Endocarditis.

The goals of traditional medicine therapy involve already the latter part of the process, and these are to decrease blood viscosity, inhibit platelet aggregation and blood clot formation, to cause vasodilation and decrease blood pressure. All these result in improvement of blood flow. As one can see, it can help but the effects only last for a short time and would require a lot of maintenance as the risk factors, causative agents and conditions are still present.

In our clinic, we offer an Alternative treatment. It comes in a package that consists of a variety of infusions. The advantage is that it can really stop and prevent Stroke by keeping the body strong so to be able to withstand this. The aim is to provide the natural amino acids to strengthen blood vessel walls, improve blood circulation, destroy infectious organisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi) and improve metabolism such as that of glucose and fat to prevent buildup of plaque and clot formation.

We also have an Advanced Biocell therapy wherein we regenerate new normal, young and healthy cells that replace the cells which died or were destroyed due to the Stroke. In Germany, we also have a specific physiotraining involved as part of the treatment package.
